Life on board a yacht...

What more can I say... waking up to this each morning is truly worth it! And the added bonus is that we get to experience sunrise and sunset in a different place most if not every day!

We have left Fort Lauderdale, Florida on board the yacht for the season. There are no guests on board yet so we've been exploring every town we come across!

Firstly... here's a pic of my new home! (it was parked outside our house... and next to the owners place)

Bonnie, Dave and I stayed in this place while we were in Fort Lauderdale!
Bethy...the cleaning lady!

I went from living in this room...

To this lil' one... its cosy, and the photos give it a personal feel! I like it.

The roller blading queens- its bound to come back in...check out the cool wrist guards! Mum... I am yet to fall, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Since leaving Fort Lauderdale... we have visited some great little coastal towns! First stop...

St AUGUSTINE, Florida

We ended up staying here a little longer than expected! (troubles with the yacht) But it was definitely worth it... a gorgeous town, with great, friendly people!

St Augustine is the oldest city in the United States... there was such an historic, coastal aura about everything we saw!

Saturday... we decided to head into the village and were lucky to catch a festival in the main square!

The arvo/night then took us down the town's main street... where Bonnie, Dave and I decided to have ourselves a little pub crawl!

Seeing this at our first stop was a bad idea... a few beers and no food later we thought we were seeing things when we ventured into the next drinking hole...

I definitely felt like we had entered a time machine... but it was a lot of fun! I love this town..!

So then it was on to our next destination... the Mill House Tavern!

Bring on the cider! Mon I can't stay away from the stuff... I thought I would be over it after Whistler! hehe... Never!

The band was great... fiddler and all! They loved "the aussies" as we were labeled, and wouldn't let us leave! And thus... the rest of the night was spent mixing in with the locals... drinking more cider... and finding our way back to the yacht!

Next stop...

CHARLESTON, South Carolina

This place reminded me of Anne of Green Gables or Matilda... the houses were so big, some looked like they were from the set of a horror movie! Seeing a cat peering down at us from a window, on a street with no lights, is bound to scare most people. Some of the views are amazing...

We are spending tonight docked in Cape Fear, North Carolina... and are off again tomorrow! I best get back to my housewife training... cleaning, ironing, serving, and more cleaning!

Love to you all xo

It's a small world after all...

After a day at Walt Disney World... you sure do have that song implanted in your head! Bonnie, Dave and I headed down to the land of a million dreams this past weekend, unlocked our inner child, and explored Magic Kingdom! Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Ariel, Winnie the Pooh... you name a character, we saw it!

Let the story begin...

The castle looked exactly how I have always imagined....

Dave, Bonnie and I watching the Disney "dreams come true" parade!

Angus made a cameo in the parade... I knew you weren't in London! hehe..

Oh Mickey your so fine...

Goofing around...

Check out how Aus was represented in the "its a small world" ride..!

That night we ventured into Downtown Disney... fun for adults! We grabbed a margarita and went exploring!

Home sweet home... AND its all made of Lego!

No we aren't drinking sand... Margarita's in beach buckets! woohoo...

Equipped with hangovers... we then hit the thrill rides at Busch Gardens (not far from Disney World) And there were some scary ones...

The "Shiekra" was a roller coaster with a 90 degree angle drop!

Bonnie and Dave also took me out in Miami last week... here are some pics!

Just to show you how "classy" South Beach can be!

Bonnie and I at some markets... so nice to be outdoors, soaking up some sun!

Now this is a smart way to get a shoppers attention... puppies in the window!

Signing off now... xoxo
